One test. A clearer view of your connection.
How fast is
your connection?
Measure download speed, upload speed and latency from your device to Cloudflare.
The quick test plans up to 26.4 MB of sample data. Actual traffic includes protocol overhead; the test may finish early.
Runs only when you press Start. No sign-in needed.

Make sense of
your results.
The numbers are a starting point. The test destination, Wi-Fi and your device all affect the result.
Read about Cloudflare’s methodologyDoes this measure my connection or a website?
This tests the connection from your browser to Cloudflare, including the effects of Wi-Fi, your device and the network route. It does not measure a specific website’s load time or represent every Internet destination.
Why does this differ from the Speedtest app?
Each service uses its own servers, network routes and sampling methods. Cloudflare tests with predefined data blocks rather than trying to saturate the connection. Different results alone do not establish a fault with your carrier.
What does loaded latency mean?
This shows how your connection responds while data is being transferred. A large rise from idle latency may mean less smooth calls or gaming while you download files. One test cannot identify where a slowdown occurs.
Can the quick test miss high speeds?
Yes. Quick mode prioritizes lower data use and may not capture the full speed of a fast connection. The detailed test uses more data. Both modes test your connection to Cloudflare.
Where are data and history stored?
Cloudflare receives test requests and collects results to aggregate connection quality. Tammi stores result history in your browser without an account. Clearing history here does not delete data that Cloudflare has already received.
