Change your Wi-Fi password with Hi FPT

Use the correct account and network

Download Hi FPT through FPT Telecom’s link or an official app store. Use the phone number linked to your contract and complete verification in the app.

If you have several contracts or access points, identify the network you want to change. Menu names may vary with the app version and equipment.

Change the password in Hi FPT

FPT’s current guide describes using the Wi-Fi network menu on the home screen. If your interface differs, check the provider’s Hi FPT guide.

1. Select the three-dot menu next to the Wi-Fi network you want to edit.
2. Open the option to change the Wi-Fi name or password.
3. Enter the new password and select the update option.

Reconnect and check your devices

After a password change, devices that saved the old password may need to sign in again. Check the phones, computers, TVs and cameras you use.

Try opening a website on a device that has just reconnected. If you use an additional router, its network may have its own password; a change in Hi FPT does not necessarily update every network in your home.

If the option is missing or the change fails

Use the support centre in Hi FPT or the contact channel on fpt.vn so the provider can check the correct contract and modem. Do not use a default administrator password from a different modem model.

Keep your OTP and password within your own verification process; Tammi does not need to collect them.
